Eligibility Criteria
NZEA is aimed squarely at students applying from India. You need to tick all of the following: Hold current Indian citizenship, and not be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand or Australia. Be at least 18 years old when you apply. Be living in India at the time of application.
Scholarship Benefits
- The award is a one-off reduction applied to your tuition fees, usually in the first year of study. What you get out of it:
- A direct cut to your tuition for the qualifying programme.
- A smaller upfront cost when you arrive, which can help with visa financial evidence.
- Recognition you can put on your CV, since selection is competitive.
- It does not cover living costs, flights, insurance, or visa fees. Budget for those separately. The award also can't usually be combined with certain other university scholarships, so read the terms if you've been offered more than one.
Verify eligibility and deadlines on the official scholarship page before applying.
