Eligibility Criteria

Citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland Nationality You must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. These are the students who pay tuition fees in Sweden, and the scholarship is built to offset that cost. If you hold EU/EEA or Swiss citizenship, you don't pay tuition and you aren't eligible for this award. Admission status You need to be applying to a master's programme at Linnaeus University through universityadmissions.se. The scholarship is tied to your programme application, and Linnaeus University usually needs to be your first choice for you to be invited to apply.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Up to 75% of the tuition fee for your master's programme.
  • Coverage for the full duration of the programme, granted one semester at a time and extended automatically (typically across 2 to 4 semesters) when your study results are satisfactory.
  • A reduction applied directly to your tuition invoices, so you pay the remaining share rather than the full amount.
  • The scholarship does not cover living expenses, accommodation, travel, insurance, or the application fee charged through universityadmissions.se. You'll still need to show enough funds for living costs when you apply for your Swedish residence permit.
