Eligibility Criteria

International citizens who are not resident in Norway Nationality and residency You need international citizenship and must not be a resident of Norway. If you completed your bachelor's degree in Norway, BI treats you as a domestic applicant, and you are not eligible for this scholarship. Academic record You need a minimum overall GPA of 4.0 on the ECTS scale. BI converts your grades to the ECTS scale to check this, so your eligibility depends on how your transcript maps over, not on the grading system of your home country alone.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Full tuition fees for your MSc programme for up to two years.
  • An alternative one-year tuition award for some recipients, depending on the decision you receive.
  • Continued tuition cover into the second year when you maintain full study progression and the required grade average.
  • The scholarship does not include living costs. You are responsible for accommodation, food, insurance, travel, and other personal expenses while you study in Oslo.
