Eligibility Criteria

Non-EU international students paying full non-EU fees Academic Requirements The scholarships are awarded on academic merit, so your prior results drive the decision. There is no single published cut-off that applies to every programme; thresholds are set per faculty, and stronger applicants are prioritised. Nationality and Funding Requirements You must be a non-EU student who is self-funding, studying at DCU for the first time, and liable for the full non-EU tuition fee. Students who already hold other scholarship funding are generally not eligible, since the award is meant for those paying full non-EU fees themselves.

Scholarship Benefits

  • A partial reduction applied against your non-EU tuition fee.
  • A capped amount, reported at up to around EUR 2,000, with the exact figure set by faculty and programme.
  • Automatic consideration for many awards when you apply as a non-EU student.
  • Access to a wider DCU international funding list, including faculty bursaries and external schemes, which you may explore separately.
  • The award is applied to tuition only. It does not cover accommodation, living costs, travel or insurance, and in some cases the full fee is payable first with the reduction reflected once you start.
