Eligibility Criteria

Students holding a non-EU/EEA passport Nationality Requirements You need to hold a non-EU/EEA passport. The AMS exists to support students who pay the higher institutional tuition rate, so EU/EEA nationals are generally not eligible. Check your faculty's page if your situation is borderline, for instance dual nationality or a residence permit. Academic Requirements Programme Requirements

Scholarship Benefits

  • A contribution toward your tuition fee, which in some faculties covers most or all of the institutional rate.
  • In certain faculties, an additional allowance on top of tuition (for example the Business School's tuition plus EUR 5,000).
  • The exact package depends entirely on the faculty or graduate school running your programme, so treat the figures above as examples rather than a fixed amount.
  • The AMS is a merit award rather than a guaranteed full ride. Even with a large award, plan for living costs in Amsterdam and for any tuition the scholarship doesn't cover.
