Eligibility Criteria
Non-EU developing countries Country Classification You must be a citizen of a non-EU country with reduced economic development, classified as a developing country under international standards. Citizens of EU member states, regardless of their personal financial situation, are not eligible for this scholarship. Socio-Economic Situation You must be able to demonstrate a disadvantaged socio-economic background. The scholarship exists specifically to support students whose financial situation would otherwise prevent them from accessing higher education at UVT. You'll need documentation to support this claim.
Scholarship Benefits
- Exemption from tuition fees (full or partial, depending on the individual award)
- Waiver of dormitory accommodation fees
- Monthly financial grant at a base amount of approximately 350 lei
- Any combination of the above three benefits, depending on your situation and available slots
- Up to 3 UNHCR-track scholarships per year for refugees and asylum seekers (separate pathway)
