Eligibility Criteria
Citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland Nationality and fee status You must be a fee-paying student, which means a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. These are the students who pay tuition at Swedish universities, and MUMS exists to reduce that fee. Programme and admission round You need to apply to an English-taught master's programme at Malmö University in the first admission round, and you must rank that programme as your first choice. You also need to be admitted to that first-choice programme to be considered.
Scholarship Benefits
- A partial reduction of your tuition fee, or in some cases up to the full tuition fee, applied to your tuition invoices.
- Continued coverage into the second year of a two-year programme when you meet the study-result requirement.
- MUMS does not cover living expenses, accommodation, travel, insurance, or the application fee. You still need to show enough money for living costs when you apply for your Swedish residence permit, and you remain responsible for any portion of tuition the scholarship doesn't cover.
