Welcome to UniMeetAI. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

1. Description of service

UniMeetAI is a web-based platform that helps international students find best-fit universities, countries, and scholarships based on their academic profile. We also provide AI-powered document generation, application tracking, and related services.

2. Account registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use our service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• Some features require a paid subscription (Plus or Pro plan).
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 7 days of a charge to request a refund.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false academic information or fraudulent applications.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use AI-generated content to misrepresent your qualifications.
• Abuse the referral/affiliate program through fake accounts or self-referrals.

5. AI-generated content

Our AI features generate suggestions for SOPs, CVs, motivation letters, and other documents. This content is provided as a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring accuracy before submitting to any institution. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in admission.

6. Intellectual property

• You retain ownership of the personal data and documents you upload.
• AI-generated content created using your data belongs to you.
• The UniMeetAI platform, branding, algorithms, and code are our intellectual property.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

UniMeetAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee admission to any university, scholarship award, or visa approval. Our matching algorithm provides recommendations based on available data and should not be the sole factor in your decision-making.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniMeetAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
